ACTIONS
Nourishes Ki Yin, generates fluids. Clears Lu Heat and moistens Lu.
(TK) Lu Yin herb that goes to Ki; Upper Jiao stands for nice presentation, Middle Jiao for gluttony and the Lower Jiao for licentiousness. T Asparagi Cochinchinensis/Tianmendong stills desire; reduces craving for worldly goods, food and sex.


INDICATIONS
Yin xu with Heat signs in Upper Jiao, dry Lu-patterns; dry mouth, thick or blood streaked sputum. Cough, sadness, fear. Lu and Ki Yin xu; especially wasting & thirsting, diarrhea with low-grade afternoon fever. Constipation due to dry intestines.


CONTRA-INDICATIONS
Cold from Sp and St with reduced appetite and diarrhea.
Wind-Cold cough.
