Properties : Sweet, bitter. Very cold
Channels : Ki, Lu


ACTIONS
Lu Yin herb that goes to Ki; UJ: nice presentation. MJ: gluttony. LJ: licentiousness. Stills desire; reduces craving for worldly goods, food and sex. Nourishes Ki Yin, clears Lu Heat. Moistens Lu, nourishes Ki, generates fluids.


INDICATIONS
Cough, sadness, fear. Yin xu with Heat signs in UJ, dry Lu-patterns; dry mouth, thick or blood streaked sputum. Lu and Ki Yin xu; especially wasting & thirsting, diarrhea with low-grade afternoon fever. Constipation due to dry intestines.


CONTRA-INDICATIONS
Cold from Sp and St with reduced appetite, diarrhea. Wind-Cold cough.
